What Is The North East Workforce Skills Programme?
The North East Workforce Skills (NEWS) programme is a European Social Fund (ESF) project, aimed at levelling up workforce skills of over 17,500 employees in Tyne and Wear and Northumberland.
The project supports employers to access the tools they need to upskill their workforce through the consortium’s wide-ranging offer. It promotes education, skills and lifelong learning through highly tailored training and development solutions for businesses, from learning basic skills right up to degree level.
