Designed with one of our employer partners, this course will be delivered by ourselves at RE:GEN Academy to provide you with hands-on experience and on the job training so you can put your skills straight to the test. With an end result of gaining all relevant knowledge and training to be with the chance of progressing into a specialist role as a Plasterer.

This is a unique model that has been designed with our employers, to educate and attract young vibrant talent into the sector and help you climb the career ladder. You will gain knowledge and qualifications specifically in Retrofit and Construction Green Skills which play a huge part in the role.

Duties include:

The role of an apprentice joiner involves the following duties::

• Installation, operation, maintenance and repair of preparation work, patching, two coat plaster, skimming, board work, plastering.
• You will use a range of plastering hand tools, portable machinery, i.e. Paddle Mixers, Trowels
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies, including site specific procedures and work to approved RAMS
• Work in a team alongside all site personnel
• Ensure, as far as practicable, the health and safety and welfare of yourself and others likely to be affected by your actions.
