Are you looking to explore a career within the Construction Sector? Then look no further. We’ve got just the opportunity for you as a Trainee Plasterer.
Designed with our employer partner DM Building and Plastering Services, this course will be delivered by ourselves at RE:GEN Academy to provide you with hands-on experience and on the job training so you can put your skills straight to the test. With an end result of gaining all relevant knowledge and training to be with the chance of progressing into a role with our employer partner.
This is a unique model that has been designed with our employers, to educate and attract vibrant talent into the sector. You will gain knowledge and qualifications in the construction and build environment. You will also be working towards gaining other certifications that are mandatory for the construction sector.
Daily responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Plasterer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in plastering and rendering. No previous experience is required – we are looking for someone who is keen to learn, shows initiative, and can be proactive on site. The role will involve:
- Assist plasterers on site with preparation and application of plaster and render
- Learn and support with mixing materials, setting up tools, and cleaning down work areas
- Carry out general labouring duties to support the team as needed
- Work safely and responsibly under supervision while developing trade skills
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of workmanship and site presentation
Requirements:
- Strong interest in a career in plastering/rendering
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople
- Positive attitude, reliable, and hardworking
- Ability to show initiative and work proactively as part of a team
- Punctual and committed to developing skills and knowledge
- You must be over 19 for Health and Safety regulations.

Salary:
- Starting on National Minimum Wage, to be reviewed on an individual
basis £12.21 (21+), £10.00 (19-20 year olds)
