Are you looking to explore a career within the Construction Sector? Then look no further. We’ve got just the opportunity for you as a Trainee Plumber/Water Efficiency Technician.
Designed with our employer partner Control Flow Technologies, this course will be delivered by ourselves at RE:GEN Academy to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to make a start in the Construction Industry. With an end result of a guaranteed interview to be in with the chance of progressing into a role with Control Flow Technologies.
This is a unique model that has been designed with our employers, to educate and attract vibrant talent into the sector. You will gain knowledge and qualifications in the construction and build environment. You will also be working towards gaining other certifications that are mandatory for the construction sector.
About the company:
Control Flow Technologies Group Ltd specialises in energy and water-saving solutions through its patented Control Flow HL2024® technology. Its devices help reduce water and energy consumption, lower utility bills, and support environmental sustainability.
Duties include:
- Assisting the Lead Engineer: Work alongside a qualified plumber to install water saving devices, repair minor leaks, and conduct domestic plumbing maintenance.
- Shadowing & Mentorship: Observe advanced diagnostic techniques, learn to work safely around residential water systems, and absorb industry best practices.
- Tool & Material Management: Help maintain the company vehicle’s stock, organise specialist plumbing equipment, and ensure a clean, safe working environment on-site.
- Customer Interaction: Accompany the engineer into client homes, learning how to advise householders on water conservation and efficiency.
- Digital Logging: Learn to use the company CRM system to update job records, log parts used and manage daily schedules.
Requirements:
- A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a genuine eagerness to learn from a skilled professional.
- DBS checks are required.
- Unannounced drug and alcohol testing to be expected.
- Full, clean UK driving licence – Company van.
Salary & Benefits:
- National Minimum Wage for age.
