What is a Skills Bootcamp?
Skills Bootcamps are a part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee. They are being delivered in partnership with employers, further education training providers and local government. The available training and support aligns with local and national demand for skills, ensuring that people have a direct line of sight to a job and support people to get skills for life.
Our Skills Bootcamp is a 3-week fully funded programme that provides learners with the skills and knowledge they need to enter the Built Environment, with a focus on construction green skills. It combines classroom, practical based learning, and onsite training to offer learners a hands-on experience of the different roles in the construction industry, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and an offer of an interview with an employer upon completion.
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will have the opportunity to interview for a job vacancy with one of our employer partners.
This programme includes:
Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment (Free CSCS Card).
Developing practical skills.
Level 3 in an Understanding of Domestic Retrofit
PPE: Hard Hat, Hi-Viz, Boots
Real - life site work experience.
20 hours of driving lessons.
Additional construction CPD modules.
A guaranteed job interview.
Workshops led by industry experts.
Aftercare support from our in house team.
